Atomic Lightwave is a large espresso machine piloted by Peter Thosteson. The Atomic Lightwave name was conceived under duress as a last minute business requirement. Although the name was initially greeted with comic disapproval, it has begun to gain acceptance by people in search of digital craftsmanship.
The Logo:
After about a year in business without a logo, my brother sent me an
email describing something called Cerenkov Radiation. Most simply put,
Cerenkov Radiation is a blue glow created by atomic particles moving faster
than the speed of light...an Atomic Lightwave! A version of the logo that
I had been working on was already round and glowing, Cerenkov inspired
the blues and the angled bars (fuel rods) that are on the upper half.
Poor Pavel Cerenkov is probably rolling over in his grave knowing that
a piece of scientific discovery named after him is being twisted into
the logo for a multimedia company. If you would like to learn more about
